Hurrying home...........

I had my hair cut this evening. It was nice to sit down for an hour and receive a bit of pampering, and extra nice to know it was free, due to my loyalty card being complete. I listened to the stylist tell me all about her woes. She is lovely, only 19 , and planning on taking a year out after Christmas to go travelling. She has her ticket booked, and her travelling buddy had texted her today to back out. For a fleeting moment I had the urge to say "I''ll come " . Then I remembered , I am old enough to be her mother. So I picked up my bag and coat , booked to see her in 6 weeks time , gave her a lovely tip to cheer her up, and hurried home. Oh to be 19 again , one of the happiest years of my youth life.
