Flower Friday

This is a banksia. A very Aussi flower.

After a very wet night and morning we went for a bike ride into town along some excellent bike paths. We had fish and chips ( & oysters and prawns) for lunch and after biking home we drove down to Guerilla Bay where there was a bush walk out to a dangerous lookout. Great views. These banksias were along the walk and were just enormous. I wonder how old they are. Tomorrow we pack up head south to Narooma....new territory for us. We both spent the morning reading.
