Sherborne Castle

We had a lovely autumnal walk in the grounds of the castle this afternoon.
Ducks and swans on the lake, and the waterfall proved exciting! 
The trees were almost in full autumn colour and there were leaves of all shapes to find!
The tea shop was still open when we found it by going through this gate in the wall (see extra) and toasted teacakes and lemon cake went down a treat. In the gift shop, the children bought rulers showing all the names and dates of the kings and queens of England! 
On the way home in the car they were measuring their arms and hands!
