Another northside garden view

I like this one better than yesterday's. There are places on my property where I am reaching a goal when I first moved here. It was to get rid of as much grass to cut as possible. This is looking like it.
Just walking pathways are mowed between the plantings which are coming to maturity. This fall it is looking rich!
The scarlet oak tree is coming into its own. I had to tie up the ornamental grasses that were falling all over and getting in the way of mowing. The snow gets too heavy for them later on.
I guess it would look wilder without the telephone wires passing through!
