Long Gallery at Haddon Hall
My other half took a day off work and we visited Haddon Hall near Bakewell. It's a fortified medieval manor house and dates from the 12th century to the 17th. It was restored in the 1920s by the 9th Duke and Duchess of Rutland.
It's not somewhere we'd visited before but knew it well. This is due to the fact that's been used as a location for many TV programmes and films.
The light in this room was just amazing. I thought the windows had warped with time, but apparently they were purposefully done this way to reflect the light even more.
