Ralph Cross, Westerdale Moor

It was a stunning Autumn day today. We decided to take it quitetly after our exertions yesterday. 
We headed over the moors to Helmsley and had lunch at one of our favourite spots - The Walled Garden where we baked in their beautiful Victorian lean to conservatory. Then we had a wander round the market place and picked up some Halloween hats ready for my great niece's party on Sunday.
We drove back through Rosedale Abbey down the Rosedale Chimney and across the moors for one last look at Brunswick Bay, our favourite.
The views were just stunning although I was surprised to see so much swaling of the moor going on .
