Shoreham
It was such a lovely day today Mr U&L and I decided to go to the coast for the afternoon. We ended up at Shoreham, and enjoyed a lovely walk down the harbor arm, talking to the numerous fishermen, and watching the boats and wildlife.
So today's blip has to be the dredger 'Sand Heron' as she leaves Shoreham harbor assisted by the much smaller pilot. Once she had cleared the harbor arm the pilot returned, and she continued off in the direction of the Rampion wind farm which is just offshore.
My extra is a little Turnstone Arenaria interpres, who was very busy round the feet of the fishermen, looking for scraps to eat.
