Globe symbolising the passing of time.
Flute symbolising the fragility of life.
Sword emblem of worldly power and authority.
Book represents learning.
Watch represents the inevitable and constant passing of time.
Portrait of Michelangelo and skull suggests even the great must die.
A grim reflection of life, think I prefer a Still life of fruit and vegetables!!
