Eastern Gray Squirrel

Yesterday I tossed a bunch of chestnuts that I'd had in the fridge out onto the lawn and I think this squirrel found them. Our Chinese chestnut tree had a banner year of nut production this year - as have the oaks also - and I collected a whole bunch of them. Then I ate a lot. Then I realized I wasn't going to eat anymore, so I tossed them back to the wildlife. I haven't seen many squirrels since I tried to stop tempting the bears. But in the past week or two I've been sneaking some bird seed out. Fingers crossed. Anyway - a squirrel!
