Strawbs

The Strawbs were one of my favourite bands many years ago. I was quite delighted, then, to find out they were still touring and, moreover, their latest tour included a gig in Stirling.

First thoughts: it was a good concert; a mixture of old familiar tracks and stuff from their new album.
Second thought, though, was that the audience (of which I was one, of course!) contained a fair number of men of a certain age, with expanding waistlines and receding hairlines. I may fall into one or more or all of these categories myself, but that would be telling.
