Last test

Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge is vast. I'm fortunate to live close to it, although still far enough away that a journey to it leaves me sweaty and light-headed. I was asked to attend for a final blood test to check my platelets haven't dropped further. The reading implies I'm one paper cut away from bleeding unstoppably.

I ate fish cakes to stimulate the brain and promote recovery. And I tried to work remotely to complete some light admin stuff with the Finance team, but it risked raising my blood pressure. Although it does need to rise, it should be through rest and strength building, not spikes of annoyance.
