2017 Friday -- Future Online Class

This evening I have been inputting and building the online class that I will be teaching in either the spring, or most likely, the autumn 2018 semester. Canvas is the name of the program, and so far I think it is going to be slightly easier to use than the Blackboard program our school has been using for years.

The new program is actually being pushed forward by the Chancellor of California Community Colleges and funded for the first several years by the chancellor's office.

In other news today,
--two real estate agents, one from Upland and one from Sierra Madre, brought clients to our home today. This Sunday our realtor will be having an "Open House" here at our house.
--We met with a contractor at our former home this morning. The kitchen, two bathrooms, and flooring for the entire house were the focus of our attention.

--The final meeting for this semester for Jessica's evaluation was midday today. She has been a full time faculty for two years now. I am one of four faulty, plus the Dean of Instruction, all serve on her evaluation committee.

And that's my Friday. If my dad were still alive he'd be 91 today.
