New growth

S and I visited our daughter, C, and her two boys this afternoon. Mr H has a science test next week, and S thought that as an ex science teacher she could help him with some preparation today. Once he stopped avoiding it, I think he got benefit from it. Young L was secreted in his bedroom, while C and I talked about politics. He emerged to play Yahtzee with his mother, and I went outside with the camera, where the spring growth of the tree ferns was striking.
