A beauty of a day

I met a couple out with their dog this morning and they asked me if I was heading on the moors with my camera. I hadn't really intended to but glad this questions spurred me on - to the edge, at least.

So many birds devouring the berries - newly arrived redwings, blackbirds, mistle thrushes and a red grouse (in a tree - new for me!)  On top of that, a pair of woodpeckers together, a buzzard, tiny goldcrests and a kestrel.

And then I had a cycle out to Kettlewell in glorious blue sky.  Not feeling fit at all but thoroughly enjoyed it - just with the significant annoyance of hip bother tonight.  Perhaps a beach will be in order ┌( ಠ_ಠ)┘
