What a wonderful day

Had a near perfect day today, which could only have been bettered had I been one of those in this gondola this evening.

We are on another little island in the Loire, at Amboise. A perfect little town, if a little too touristy. Jagger has a home here, apparently, and Da Vinci lived and died here. We went to see his home and gardens.

Then we came back to eat a warm Mont d'Or cheese and watch the hot air balloon taking off.
