Birthday Walk

I joined with family and friends of a dear friend who died earlier this year, to celebrate what would have been her 65th birthday today. Her daughters organised a walk from their home across Newcastle Town Moor into the city and back through Jesmond, over 4 miles in all. The walk was in aid of Bright Red a local blood cancer charity. At the end we all enjoyed tea and cakes together in their cosy home. Thank you S, A and H.
