Jack and the Beans Talk

Phoebe was at her sleepover this morning so I took Alexander to preschool so I could have a few hours to get some painting done. After lunch I collected them both and we went to the library to see a production of Jack and the Beans Talk. It was fantastic. Just one lady and a handful of puppets. She kept the children (and adults) fully immersed in the story and it was so cleverly put together. Alexander was laughing his head and I couldn’t believe how expressive the puppets were. Such a great show.

Afterwards we walked round to the park. We played in the leaves and enjoyed this mild autumn weather we are having.
