Menin Gate

After attending the Last Post yesterday evening we explored the memorial in daylight this afternoon.

Earlier we had visited Hooge Crater, Sanctuary Wood/Hill 62, Hill 60 & Caterpillar mine craters, Messines, Irish Peace Park and the Christmas Truce Memorial.

We also parked, briefly, next to the farm where a 50,000lb mine still lies beneath...
