View from the top

Today it was a glorious day and we decided to walk up to Basilica di San Miniato al Monte. A good exercise and definitely an excellent idea, as we were able to see Florence from above. The Basilica is a very good example of Romanesque architecture. There is a pharmacy just beside the church, run by monks. I was tempted to buy some of their oils for my cough, but they were too pricey.
