Stunning Skye

It was up and out this morning to catch a Misty Isle boat trip through the Black Cullins. Our captain Seamus gave us a lovely guided tour of the area before he dropped us off for a squelchy walk to Loch Coruisk, where we sat with the most magnificent view for our sandwiches. We caught the boat back to Elgol and a lovely relaxed road trip back home, found a lovely spot for afternoon tea and cake, stopped off in Portree for a wander and some supplies. Then back to our cottage for dinner and knitting/reading in the Aurora room as we’ve now christened the sun room at night.
