The Guildhall

This is the Guildhall at Much Wenlock in Shropshire. Built in 1540, after the dissolution of the priory, as a base for local government. Today it still fulfils that role as the town council regularly meets there.

Shropshire is full of historic reference points and wonderful scenery. We have just travelled along the Wenlock Edge and then ascended the Long Mynd as the sun went down.
