Essex Cross Country League

Last year our ladies team were relegated from League One.
A variety of reasons, but mainly because of injuries, pregnancies etc we often failed to put a full team out.
You can have as many runners as you like, but the Top 4 'score' as a team and last season we had 3 at most, many times just 2 or 1.

Over the last few months we have had a few new members to the club and I've managed to cajole some of the existing ones too - and this was our ladies squad on Saturday. Eight ladies, which was fantastic.
After one fixture they even sit on top of Division 2.

Although not 'scoring' the most impressive lady of all is 'Pam' who always turns up for Cross country...and she's 81 years old!
