Z Wines Expo Vino

We attended the first ever Wine Expo sponsored by Z Wines, a recent addition to the Zihuatanejo wine scene. In our former life we attended dozens upon dozens of such events, and even coordinated a fair number for various clients through our marketing business, so it was fun to see how a similar event was handled in Mexico. For 350 pesos a person (less than $20 usd), we were able to taste as many of the 100 available wines as we could in the six hours allotted to the expo. I couldn't tell you how many wines we sampled, but after three and a half hours we were ready to call it a night and head home with a few bottles of our favorites. We very much like the rustic atmosphere of Zihuatanejo, but every once in a while it is fun to take part in an "upscale" event such as this.
