Starling in the Rain

I needed to take advantage of the dry conditions to clear two of my vegetable plots. It was hard work pulling out the big grasses that grow so quickly, along with other weeds. Then I had to trim around the plots because they had all but disappeared in the long grass. This place is extremely good at growing grass.

When the rain started I was blipless. I poked my camera out the back and captured the starling perched on his favourite branch on the big apricot tree. He doesn't look happy, does he?
