Lunar Eclipse of the Moon!

Ok, so yes, I did have a slightly delicate head when I woke, but there was an extra hour in bed and before long everything was as normal as it ever gets here... Nevertheless, it was a day at home doing minor jobs such as ripping out the old bean beds and cleaning the pond pump.

The pond came to mind when I saw Greg's image of the reflected Moon, and it gave me the idea to play with a new toy - a spherical lens. Not as easy as it first appears!!!

I suspect I'm as dissatisfied with my image as Greg was with his. Nevertheless it was that or Greg on his new bike, and who wants to see that? Oh, ok... extra. It's probably obvious by now you're going to get a few of these spherical nonsense images, so best be prepared.
