Red Bull Timelaps

Another trip out for the camper. D and I shot off after work last night and stayed at New Farm Fisheries so we were close to Windsor. Arriving in the dark and leaving early...we didn't see what it was like.
This morning, up and out by 6am to go to Sunningdale where we met up with M.and his three team mates. We crammed all their kit...including 2 bikes on the back and one inside and D. Headed off to Windsor great park. No room for me, so I jumped on my bike and cycled the last 3 miles to venue. A. had his camper so he took l and R.
The lads had to register for the event at 7am. The y had signed up for a 25 hour cycle race over a 6km lap in the park. D.was their mechanic who too had to stay up all night in the pits, if for no other reason but to look after the bikes of those who weren't on course. ( it was basically a relay).
The hour the clocks went back was a sprint hour where competitor on course acquired double points for the distance covered. As it was M. Whose bright idea was to enter , took the hour on and went like mad to get the distance in.each lad managed to grab an hour's sleep, but by 12 noon Sunday came looked shattered!
