It's a lovely bright morning here, but today is the first day this "winter" that the thermometer has dropped below 0°c - resulting in the need to scrape ice from the car. As I was up early, and the theme today is "animals" I thought that I'd go and see what else was up at the same time as I was ...


The answer was - two deer, who tried to kill me by throwing themselves in front of the car - but missed ( both me, and them ! ) - and a million birds that just would not sit still. I believe that I was quite a source of amusement to them as clearly I had no idea how moving auto-focus works ... Lessons to be had here and more reading to be done.
