Quilts Quilts and more quilts

The next quilt I did was an authentic Mexican piece of embroidery given to me by a Mexican friend and her daughter hand embroidered in Mexico. The folk at the weekend were all enraptured by this authentic piece of art  and helped me choose the colours and fabrics to make this piece into a wall hanging. Not my colours for my home but definitely right for a Mexican work of art. It is yet to have its borders put on it. The extra is a quilt I have been making for a year or two and now have finished the quilting and all that is left to do is the binding.. A great weekend of fellowship and quilting. The next one is in March 2018
