Monty Halls

I was at a dinner in Edinburgh and the after dinner speaker was Monty Halls, a former Royal Marine Commando, adventurer and TV action hero. He was excellent and very funny with his stories of diving with sharks.

He wrote a note for my Dad which I'll give him on Saturday. My Dad was also in 45 Commando and is struggling with recovery from his shoulder replacement last week. Monty wrote a lovely note "To George, From one Bootneck to another. Chin up Royal, your muckers are right behind you. With my very best wishes for a speedy recovery. Monty Halls"
