Fast Flowing .....

Up and out early this morning to take a friend to the airport ... during the rush hour unfortunately but we made it with plenty of time to spare.

From the airport I headed to Rouken Glen garden centre to buy a new leaf raker to assist me with my leaf gathering (4 bags at the gate ready for collection tomorrow morning).

There is so much more to Rouken Glen than just the garden centre so I enjoyed a walking by the Auldhouse Burn, round the pond and through the walled garden and finally through the park itself back to the car.

There was very little worth seeing in the walled garden but the bedding begonias were interesting ..... the flowers planted against the wall were still looking good but the plants in the open flowerbeds had all been killed off by last night's frost ... hundreds of plants now need to be lifted ..... sometime!
