Along with five! others, spent a fabulous three hours or so sitting in the dark watching this WONDERFUL new film from P J Hogan, director of Muriels' Wedding.
It has everything. The Sound of Music, a shark, a cast of memorably 'mental' characters, dysfunctional families and Ripper the dog. The most unlikely scenarios, autobiographical to P J, and a whole new look and slant on what is 'mental'.

Should be mandatory viewing. The six of us laughed out load, applauded!, sniffled into hankies, rustled through sandwiches and popcorn and dribbled chocolate from a vanilla choc top (well I did) down a white t shirt.

'No such thing as normal, just different shades of mental.'
'You're only as crazy as you let people say you are.'
