Day of the dead

My sister in law had tickets to go to the Day of the dead festival in Edinburgh my better half thought it would be a good laugh and I could take a few shots of the characters that turned up . My wife and her sister and her friends all made an effort .......me nae ! How I was the odd one out as the only punter there without any mask or makeup or scary teeth etc. 
Normally out on the street if you ask folks if you can take a portrait shot of them there is a good chance they would say no..............here it was like a wedding i had them lining up waiting for me to take a photo .
