Monday: Colourful Sunrise

Same view as yesterday, but this was our colourful sunrise this morning!
I let the air outside warm up for a few hours before I put my coat on and went to do some urgent jobs.
Sorted out the Bramley Cooking apples, 2 trays have been stored but I don't know if they'll keep. A large batch were cubed and frozen for use during the winter and the remainder will be shared. The birds have had a very generous share this year!!
Decided to fire up the log burner this afternoon and it feels very cozy.
Whilst I was carrying logs in I heard a heavy engine noise and discovered it was the heating oil tanker so bought 800 litres, should keep us going through the winter and beyond!
