Queensferry

The three of us took a wee trip to Queensferry today and drove over the new bridge, the Queensferry Crossing, quite something to see.  However, I have blipped my favourite, the iconic Rail Bridge......

We spent some time in Queensferry, having a wee snack in the Hawes Inn and then walking through the town.  Then we drove along to Hopetoun House as the best view of the new bridge is from there.  However, I didn't manage a very good picture due to the very dull day and the fact that the bridge is all white and doesn't stand out, it needs a blue sky or a sunset behind it.

We had a lovely day though, and headed home to a nice meal and now going over to Gary's for a wee visit.  It's all go.......
