Farming friend

Spotted Duncan across the field on our dog walk, and now the dog greets him like an old friend.  There has been a lot of work in the fields recently, beet harvesting and immediately new planting too.

Back to work and college today for us all.  It's a busy week/month for my colleague Andrew who organises the village Firework Display, he's once again weather watching with a vengeance. 

Don't forget to buy your tickets here and support our local schools.  The longstanding volunteer committee are getting fewer and fewer and have less and less support, so if you want to see the fireworks continue for another year, please get involved.  They really need some new and enthusiastic people on board.
