Dropping
Dropping. A golden orb of light which shimmered on the water, over the houseboats and trees, glowing hot in the sky before sinking quickly down blanketing the fields in shade.
Crossing the canal after having an hour at Slimbridge WWT the sun was just a ball on the horizon. Brakes locking on I pulled into the siding with Tilly looking like a startled rabbit, shot out of the car and up onto the bridge. Gorgeous.
In fact the whole day has been awesome! A frost, sunshine, PT and just unexpectedly lovely really. I was in a happy place in Slimbridge with the fabulous sky - no swans flying in yet but just a wonderfully colourful autumn sky with every shade of blue, hues of yellow and orange, clouds which sucked up the colours combined with silence and the distant quack of fowl on the water. Oh yes. I am ready for winter now. Bring it on!
