Red Dawn

I left the house just after 7.00 this morning to go to Oban to take part in the Convention of the Highlands and Islands where I was leading a discussion about the effect of Brexit on the area which will be severe and damaging. I then held a series of meetings and a surgery before making my way to Edinburgh.

As I left the house just as dawn was breaking it was impossible not to notice this amazing red tunnel of cloud dominating the sky to the south.

The image is still the most striking thing I have seen all day. .
