Too soon?

We've not had the fireworks and Parkin yet but the local butcher has this sign out. Actually, to tell the truth, I have had some Parkin because Morrisons are selling it and it's jolly good; not as good as my own but I can't be faffed making any. 

Anyways, back to the subject. It's still October and they are wishing folk a Happy Christmas! This simply cannot be right. What with this and out of season HXBs in Tesco it's like some sort of temporal shift and we're in danger of tearing the space-time continuum.
