View from Cranbrook Castle
I was out rewalking the route of a walk I am leading later this week, with my husband. The weather was lovely and we had glorious views from Sharp Tor across the Teign valley. We managed to find the dead end route in the woods and retraced our steps onto the correct one through Hore Wood and Charles Wood. We saw several deer and had lunch at the top of Cranbrook Castle an Iron Age Fort. This is a view from there looking towards Little Hound Tor I believe, or it could be Hound Tor.
We then walked down and along the river Teign where I took another river shot, see extras. The river seems a little fuller than this time last week. Then it was back up to Castle Drogo where we had a well deserved tea and cake.
