Ancient trackway.

A walk this afternoon around the village we’re staying in on holiday and I wandered down a magical ancient trackway. I was reminded of Robert MacFarlanes fabulous book, ‘The old ways: A journey on foot’. It was lined by some very knarled and weather beaten hedging, which were just begging to have their photo taken.
