No, actually, these people are taking part in a dig at Papcastle (just outside Cockermouth). People don't always realise that in the north-west the Roman remains come far south and west of the end of Hadrian's Wall. There was known to be some Roman remains in Papcastle, but what has been found has exceeded expectations.
