Little bat

This little bat was allowed to wear his bat t-shirt to nursery again today, and was consequently devastated that he wasn't allowed to wear his cape. Cue delays in the morning routine and we all three set off late... but on the same bus!

Nursery til 3pm today, happy to be a "lunch boy" and have music and outdoor play.

Bat cape and child reunited.

Bit of a bike round the neighbourhood on the way home.

We didn't go out guising but CyclopsJnr was pleased to open the door to local kids and hold out a basket of sweets. The pumpkin candy bracelets went down surprisingly well and CyclopsJnr was allowed one. 

And we watched Room on the Broom.

CyclopsJnr was extremely sweet this evening, asking us if we'd had a nice day at work and saying thank you for his bat costume. Makes life easier when he's in that sort of mood!
