FIshley Cloudscape

Location: Fishley Roving Bridge, Fishley, Nr Walsall

Not as cold as yesterday, the sunrise was muted, but the reflected colours on these clouds more than made up for the lack of direct sunlight.  I realise that many of my photographs are not landscapes as much as cloudscapes.  The clouds in this image were impressive, probably many miles away and at high altitude, reminiscent of lenticular clouds I've often seen in mountain areas.  I'm sure that isn't the case here in the flatlands.

We had a bit of retail therapy at one of the outlet villages later.  It looked like a fairly fruitless visit until late on when a final burst of activity lightened the wallet.

Many thanks for the response to yesterday's frosty scene.  It was a pleasure to be out there and glad that so many liked the image.
