Non-halloween
Today was always going to be an easy blip - I love it when I know it's going to be an easy photo day. We had a non-halloween party to go to this evening, held at the church where we go to playgroup. The theme was anything that isn't scary, so I got my sewing machine out and made the boys some little soldier outfits.
The eldest was in a pair of trousers made from some shorts I had, and the youngest was in dungarees from a pattern 'donated' from my mother and the fabric from an old rucksack cover. (Erm, thank you for pattern mum, I think you told me I could have it). Anyway, I love the dungarees, they've turned out brilliantly,
I've done very well out of the day... the childminder gave them some chocolates, as did the lady across the road and they had a chocolate goody bag at the party.... so most of that has headed straight into the cupboard for when I need a pick-me up (slightly less in there than there should have been).
