Sweetheart Rose .....

..... I think! I've always thought of this rose as Cecile Brunner, but there's another little rose alongside it, which is pinker. So if this one isn't Cecile Brunner, does anyone know what it is?

This is a different 'take' for me, for WideAngle Wednesday. Kayaking wasn't on the agenda, with other stuff needing to happen. So I decided to try something closer to home.

The news from New York is appalling. Violence is so degrading, to everyone it touches, and ghastly for those involved. How anyone can believe that this horror can be perpetrated in God's name is beyond me.
