Owen meets Olivia

It must be strange to be almost three and to suddenly meet your sibling. This photo is that exact moment for my grandson. I now have two grandchildren and I'm not yet sure what to make of it. This little girl has entered our world all dressed in pink, with perfect wrinkled new skin and we are full of wonder about who she will become. We also wonder what the sibling relationship will become, but it's far too early to tell. For now, Owen is looking over his new sister and trying to figure out what it means to him.

Me? I"m a tired Nana who is feeling satisfied and full of hope for all that Olivia will become. I am grateful for family.
