Chicken Stock.
I like making a good chicken stock that makes an ideal base for any soup that you want to make. I think this stock will finish off in a butternut and sweet potato soup.
We went to Swiss Farm Butchers at Ashbocking and found they have an offer of 25% off topside of beef so it was a great time to buy our beef for our dinner party in November. I also bought a kilo of chicken wings and got on with making the stock as soon as I arrived home. Soup is one of the nice things about winter.
