A safe stronghold is our God

I should have blipped for the 500th anniversary of the Reformation yesterday. One blip friend actually asked why I didn’t - which was very encouraging! I just couldn’t find the right image.

Luther wrote the hymn Ein feste burg - and it became the Battle Hymn of The Reformers. They probably did not sing it as they marched into Worms for the trial. The famous Diet! But I wish they had!

When Luther was locked up in the Wartburg it must have looked a bit like our own beloved Castle.
