From the old jetty at Toy Ness

I got the bus to Orphir village and walked to the shore at The Breck, passing The Fidge on the way. It was raining but I was well waterproofed and I knew it would soon brighten up. I made coffee at the old jetty which was used in both wars. In the second war it was used to lift flying boats from the water for repair. I walked along the shore to The Bu, then the road to Houton and onto the bus back to Kirkwall.
