St. Cosmas and Damian Church

...at the village of Neunkirchen (Odenwald), towering over the hills and looking far into the Rhine valley. On bright days Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, and the Taunus mountains can be seen from here (not today, on my way to the Winterkasten rehabilitation clinic, for a traditional counselling visit). The church is framed by a couple of old trees, here are the branches of the local Luther-Lime, planted in 1883, on Luther’s 400th birthday.
